Holistic MassageA classic holistic massage using oils. A relaxing treatment that eases muscular tension, reduces aches & pains, stimulates the immune system and improves circulation and lymphatic drainage; it also helps reduces stress, anxiety and depression. The pressure can be soft for gentle relaxation, or choose deep massage to really tackle knotted muscles and deep tension. |
Thai Table MassageThis is traditional Thai massage specially adapted to be performed on a massage couch rather than on a futon on the floor. Thai style is quite a strong massage that involves stretching and slow, deep massage, as well as some acupressure along energy meridians (Sen lines). It is performed through clothing (you will need to wear loose and comfortable exercise clothing) and without using oils. Thai massage provides many benefits, but is especially good for easing deep muscular tension. |
Thai Herb Compress MassageThis is Thai massage enhanced with aromatic herbs that are steamed until hot and then applied to the skin. Not only does the warmth feel lovely on aching muscles and stiff joints, but aromatic oils seep into the skin. These oils are considered beneficial to many conditions: easing sore or tense muscles and stiff joints; improving circulation, digestion and breathing; as well as benefitting skin tone and providing an emotional uplift. It is a fabulously relaxing treatment. |
Indian Head MassageThis is a seated massage that works on the upper back, shoulders and upper arms, neck, scalp and face. It helps ease a whole range of symptoms such as knotted muscles, headaches, sinusitis, migraine, eye strain and insomnia. It is particularly good for reducing the effects of stress and tension, and regular sessions can have the effect of smoothing out facial muscles. It also works on the main Chakra points of the head, helping balance your subtle energies. |
ReikiReiki is a form of natural healing used for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing, addressing the whole person and helping them regain harmony and wholeness of being. The practitioner gently places their hands in a sequence of non-intrusive positions that cover the whole body. There is no massage or manipulation. The practitioner is a channel through which universal life-energy is drawn; it then flows to areas of need in the recipient, soothing pain and supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself. |
Metamorphic TechniqueThis form of energy-work enables people to let go of past limitations and move forward in their lives. By using a light touch to the spinal reflex points on the feet, hands and head, the Metamorphic practitioner acts as a catalyst to the person's life force. The life force, guided by the person's innate intelligence, will then bring about whatever transformations of the energy patterns are needed. The energy that was 'stuck' is released, freeing them up from past influences and allowing them to let go and move forward. |
Pulsing Rhythmic MassagePulsing is a wonderful treatment to help you move more freely and feel more alive. It is a rhythmic, rocking movement-based bodywork, performed through clothing and without oils, and is perhaps the most deeply relaxing and most nurturing form of bodywork. With its wave-like movements, Pulsing works with the body's natural rhythms and has a profoundly relaxing yet energising effect, helping to release physical tension and emotional stress. It is performed through clothing and no oils are used. |
